"The Royal Mile"
Shopping in Edinburgh has never been more of a pleasure with a range of stores as diverse as the city itself - Scotland's capital is unsurprisingly one of Europe's most cultured and desirable shopping destinations today.
From the patriotic knitwear of cashmere sweaters and kilts, to the luxury and budget designer stores filling its beautiful high street to Jenners - the oldest department store in the world: Edinburgh has it all.
Against the magnificent backdrop of Edinburgh Castle shoppers are spoiled for choice in the shoppers paradise of Princes Street tastefully crammed with cafes, coffee shops and elite names such as Harvey Nichols. George's street is renowned for it's vast array of designer labels, whereas those in search of a slice of traditional Scottish heritage need look no further that the patriotic Royal Mile filled with gift shops offering everything from shortbread to authentic knitwear.
Off the high streets, the city centre is also famous for its marvellous shopping centres such as the Princes Mall and St. James' shopping centre both packed with specialist boutiques, brand name and elite designer clothes, music, electronics and much more.

With the open-air ice skating rink of the winter wonderland, the Edinburgh castle beautifully twinkling against the night sky and the Edinburgh wheel - taking visitors high above one of the worlds most beautiful skylines.
