Often regarded as Glasgow's 'Prettiest park', Victoria Park was named for
Queen Victoria's golden jubilee in 1886. The park boasts an enormous range
of formal floral displays, carpet bedding and hollies.

The park also features the Fossil Grove Museum - a 300million year old
forest, accidentally uncovered while building of a pathway through a disused
quarry in the west end of the park. The park offers bowling greens,
orienteering courses, tennis courts, children's play areas and is a popular
destination for wedding photographs. The park is also home to the highly
acclaimed 'Glasgow Show' gathering 30,000 spectators as well as other family

Admission to the park is free and disabled access is provided as well as
free car and coach parking. Public toilet facilities and plant gifts shops
are also provided on site.
