Located at the very top of the British Isles beside both John O'Groats and Scrabster, which is where you can catch the ferry to the Orkney Isles. Thurso is very good for water sports in particular Surfing, in fact there are often championships held here. For those not as adventurous there is the magnificent Thurso castle and Lady Janet's seat to visit.
