There are a few good pubs and restaurants in Kilmarnock, most of which are situated on the main street. Restaurants include the usual thoroughfare like Indian and Chinese as well as Weatherspoons.. There are some clubs however for a good night out why not try the young farmers dance which is usually held in the Grand Hall about once a month.
There are also a number of shops in the town centre itself for those looking to go on a shopping spree or to buy souvenirs for the family.
Johnny Walker Whiskey is brewed in Kilmarnock, started in 1820 by a young boy called Johnny Walker who dreamed of blending the perfect whiskey, so for a good day out why not try a tour round the brewery.
